Weight loss pills?

I am currently 190lbs and I'm trying to get down to at least 160 and work my way down from there using weight loss pills. Has anyone of any age used weight pills? Did they work for you? What brand were they?

I am 16 I have actually used diet pills before. Yes, they did work I lost at least one pound a day I went from 190 to 170 but when I stopped taking them I gained the weight back plus some. I couldn't keep taking them because they caused me pains in stomach and made me get really light headed to the point where my eye sight blacked out momentarily and I had to hold onto something due to my dizziness. I went to a doctor who had his own little office, (he was kicked out of the hospital) and I knew he would prescribe me the medication for it but I had to pay him for it and them pay for my prescription, so it was kind of expensive, but I really wanted to lose weight and like I said I made it to 170 but I stopped taking thinking I would be able to lose the weight by eating healthy food (which didn't happen) and slowly but surely I started gaining the weight back then I became depressed. The pills were called phentermine I don't recall the dosage but I suggest you not to take them and if you decide you want to then you might want to read the side effects before asking for them.

I started to eat healthier after getting tips here and there about eating and exercise I started to lose weight I've dropped from 207 to 196 in a month (2-3 pounds a week). If you would like some tips that helped me just ask in the comments and I will be more than happy to give them to you. :)

I advise against diet pills.

Data shows that people generally lose the same amount of weight with diet and exercise with the pill as they did with diet and exercise without the pill.

The pills can have nasty side effects or just plain not work. Your best bet is to just eat right and work your but off. It will be so worth it.

Yes. They gave me A LOT of health problems that I'm still dealing with 4 years later. Seriously, don't be lazy and do the work! You will gain the weight back and have health problems once you get off the diet pills especially at your age.

seriously, it's all about proportions... I used to be 200lbs now 130lbs and what I did at first to lose the first 30 lbs is to only eat when I'm actually hungry not out of boredom.

That's great advice, but I'm not an over eater, actually I never really feel like eating and I do exercise at least 2 times a week (due to my tight schedule) but the weight still does not seem to come off

Then it's probably what your eating that's the problem... so what do you eat?
