How long does it take to find running easier?

I jogged for my first time to day and jogged for about 20 minutes but was very slow- not much faster than my walking pace.

I used to think I could only run for one minute, but my brother told me it's psychological and that I should be able to run for 30 minutes, so I tried, and I think he's right about it being psychological.

Anyway... My legs need to strengthen before I can work on speed and getting more aerobics out of it. I will be doing it for 20 minutes 2-3 times a week.

What is your opinion?
