Rash in inner thighs?

My husband showers daily, yet during certain times of the year he gets what looks like a rash or sunburn on his inner thighs. Does anyone know what causes this and how to treat it? He has no health insurance or I would make him go to the doctor.

Sweat Rash

If it's in the summer, it's likely the heat is causing him to sweat, which will saturate his pants and can make him chafe. He could try some powder and change his pants a couple of times a day to help.

I get them from my thighs rubbing together when I run or when I'm moving a lot during the day. Maybe that's the case? To fix that I wear compression shorts when I'm really active.

My bet is this damn heat. Get him some corn starch powder. Feels great. Let him put that on after a shower all over his thighs.
