My boyfriend is a vegan and everything in that article is a load of sh*t. Meat and dairy are full of hormones which is a fact because animals are feed hormones to make then grow faster and bigger then what is normal. Girls are getting their periods earlier then ever and developing much quicker then they should be. Being a vegan or vegetarian has been proved healthy and people tend to live longer with less health problems. Think about it most food that is in the news for contamination and being recalled is meat.
I think you need to be eating large quantities of soy for this to happen

Soy causes increases in estrogen levels.
If I was a chick I would consume it all of the time (I would probably avoid testosterone things a little more, too.). As I am a man, I consume MEAT and try to make my testosterone soar (probably am doing it wrong though since I'm still a scrawny dude)!
But I do like soy sauce and wasabi-flavored edamame from time to time, also. Think of it affecting your hormones like sugar affects your teeth. Are you going to avoid dessert forever? Me, neither.
I have heard female friends talk of how they believe soy makes their boobs grow bigger. Somehow. So if that was true it would indeed make sense that it would cause problem with men.
But my ex chugged down soy milk, was all she drank, never helped her. So its probally not true.

Yeah I heard about this quite a long time ago and tend to avoid soy as much as possible. The annoying thing is corporations tend to at soy into the majority of bread.. although I guess it isn't that much but still its rare to find any products without this sh*t
Bottom line is.. soy ain't for men unless you truly want to f*** with your hormones and energy levels
I'm a vegan, so I eat soy often. I've never met a guy who did, so I don't know if those side effects are actually true. However, if I met a guy who shared the same lifestyle as me I'd look past all that, because finding a guy who is vegan/vegetarian is extremely rare.
As a weightlifter, soy is actually very good for you, its an essential protein like whey and casein. The problem is consuming too MUCH soy or only soy. Then it starts trying change your gender. I've seen guys who only eat soy, and they look like sticks, but guys who eat all different types of protein and stay fit look like hulks.
However, I don't insist on eating or drink soy products, only protein powders that contain soy and other proteins.
I think the type of soy that is bad for you is processed soy. I don't think soy milk and tofu have the same effect. I have eaten natural soy for years with no problems.
Mostly only soy milk except in coffee, where I like more body. If Asian girls are into it, it must be good, by the look of them.
It's pretty controversial and I'm not sure about it yet. But I have learned that fermented soy is most likely healthy because it breaks down the bad things in it.
I'm a big soy believer. I love my soy stuff.
I'm allergic to soy, so no.
