My roommate is from Maryland and she loves Coco Wheats and 7-11 Slurpees (since they're everywhere up there) which she considers a northern thing. She also associates Dunkin' Donuts with the northeast.

I'm from North Carolina and I associate NC/the South with Cheerwine, Krispy Kreme, Pepsi, Mountain Dew, grits, sweet tea, and BBQ (shredded pork, vinegar based)

You can let her know that 7-11 started in Texas. =P Anyway, I guess Florida is know for Orange Juice, Key Lime Pie, Sugar, tropical fruits like mango, stone crab, Cuban sandwiches, etc.
