work out with her. eat HEALTHIER with her. diets are bullsh*t. I've been trying to lose weight since I was six and I've gone through it all. I recently lost over 22 pounds in the last 3-4 months by eating better and going to the gym at least once a week. a buddy system works best. you guys can go together and some gyms have specials for people who join with friends. you can go at her pace and support her without saying the same cliche lines of 'you're beautiful'. I know you mean it, but girls have the tendency to go 'oh, you're just saying that 'cause you're suppose to'. you want her to know she's beautiful, but if she really wants to get into shape, you'll do it with her. there's nothing more beautiful than having your love support you through something you're struggling in, even if you both get lost along the way, at least it's together.

Working out is the best way to stay fit. Why not offer to go along with her? Diets don't work but eating healthier things works as well as a regular exercise routine. She should be doing physicaly activity for at least an hour and a half and at least 4 days out of a week. What you could do to help her is to change it up as it can get mundane working out at a gym all the time. If there is a sport you both like do that. Going for hikes, bike rides, playing tennis, volleyball...anything will help. My fiance and I love hiking, biking and kicking a soccer ball around.
As your wedding gets closer, her comments will increase, that is just a fact of life. Watch out for depression. The best way to lose weight is to eat healthy foods that are low in complex carbs. The best way to get fit is to exercise, find something that works for her or the both of you. I find that swimming works well. It is relatively low impact and a great way to tone your arms, legs, and butt. Another idea is to work on this together, a good way to partner up on eating and exercise habits.

invite her to eat healthy food with you or work out together. it wouldn't hurt both of you to be healthier. that's how I got my boyfriend to lose 20 lbs.
