Usually when I'm at his house, he asks me if I'm hungry and want anything to drink or eat, I say no (because I'm really not thirsty or hungry) and he says “R you sure?”. Today in math class, I said that I’m going to finally eat lunch today and he said “Yay! Skinny Stick is finally going to eat!” and we laugh but I called him a jerk and punched his arm. He likes to mess with people a lot and joke around. It got to me later and he asked me if I was alright. I told him to not joke about my weight again because in the past, I was sensitive about it. He apologized a lot and we hugged. I’m still a bit hurt. I told my friend about this since she is skinny too and wants to gain weight as well, she said that I shouldn’t take offence to it.
Should I take offense or was he kidding?
