Am I too fat?

I am 16 and weigh about 150 pounds, I have never been very satisfied with my weight or body; but it still bothers me when my boyfriend insults me. Lately he has been editing all my pictures to make me look skinny, and it is starting to get annoying. He is 17 and weighs over 200 pounds. I know it sound mean, but if he is that overweight, then I don't think he has any room to talk about me. Lately he has been getting more insulting about my looks and weight, I can handle it when other people say it... But it just saddens me when he says it. Any advice?

unless your reaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaly short, your not overweight , and I think he's either insecure about him self and that's y he keeps insults you , I mean am a kinda overweight too , weight about 200 pounds and I jk a lot about it and about other heavy people , but only jokes and never with girls :S , so it might be the same for him but he's taking it to the extreme so just tell him you hate it and he should stop it and to get over himself (in a nice way if you like him).

or mybe he's just a jerk ,there are people who are just assholess and act sh*t they are , in this case you just leave him .

so you know best and should know what to do

Yeah, the editing thing is a bit creepy... He keeps asking if I want him to stop and I always say yes, but he never listens...

Dump him and move on; insults are a huge red-flag in a relationship. (Insults = degrading ; aka insults = abusive relationship ((emotionally)))

Theres no point in staying with someone that makes you feel like sh*t - this guy needs a life. =( sorry to be the one to say it, but sometimes it helps coming from someone else to hear the truthful opinion.

=( sorry - I can relate to being in love with someone and the fear factor-- but in the end why go through years more of being attached and addtional abuse. If he's doing it now, it will be hard to get him to stop - especially that he won't listen about editing your photos.

make sure if you do break up with him to get on his computer first and delete EVERY picture about you, or he could potentially use those pictures to "hurt your feelings"

Yeah, I would definitely delete any pictures he has... Do you really think he would do something like that though?

There is a good posibility based off of the stereotype that the two of you are young. Truthfully, there's no way for me to tell 100% ; speaking from stereotypes and how he has been this far, it seems to me like he would; which is why I would recommend deleting everything and searching the computer for image files ... (Start Menu --> Search --> Images & Video [leave the search field blank]) -- this will show any hidden files he has also ^_^

He is probably insecure with himself. So it may make him feel better to take it out on someone else. I am not saying it is right at all. I think you should move on to someone who is going to love you and appriciate you for who you are! I do not think you are over weight it is sad that the image of woman is 100 pounds and 6 feet tall. You need someone who is going to point out ur beauty and not what he would think are ur 'faults' (which are not.) Best of luck to you, and keep ur chin up!

You are not fat. And if this guy your with insults you all the time and edits your pictures, then he isn't worth being with because he should like and care about you and judging you is the last thing he should do. If you want to change your weight for him and he says your fat, get rid of him. And if other people are saying too, forget them. You should be happy with you, not anyone else.

Tell him directly that he is upsetting you and if he doesn't stop insulting you then dump him...

If he cared about your feelings at all, he wouldn't insult you like that. There are over ways of motivating people to lose weight, all he has done is been hypocritical and counter productive. What's your height by the way?

I'm 5'3, kinda short I know but... I mean, my weight is pretty well distributed.

He's a jerk! 150 is not too heavy unless you are under a certain height. Any guy that is going to edit your pictures like that (I mean unless you asked him to) is just going to cause other problems later on. Don't worry about it and move on!
