Sweetie, I think because you have gained this little bitty weight, is you are stressed out. Being 5'2 and 120 pounds is not that bad, and if you do want to loose another five, then just cut down. It will be gone in no time.
For you to even suggest picking up a habit such as smoking, will only cause More problems health wise in the future. By you substituting one bad apple for another, and in turn, you will not only have a"crazy cravings for food," but an "insane insatiable appetite" for incessantly Wanting to pick up your other bad habit--a cancer stick, instead of a carrot stick.
Get back to basics now. You're just feeling insecure about yourself, and losing your confidence and self esteem. You Think you are fat, that you're not beautiful. Now you even are "hating" your fit as a fiddle friends.
That's a problem in itself, not even your idea of trying to be this Ideal weight. Talk to yourself and start to change your mental, not just physical out look soon. Don't let it haunt you, or you will be finding yourself going to the doctor for not any physical reason, but for a mental issue. Please, trust me on this one. Start working on this, and---don't be fit to be tied.xx

Ok, so coming from someone who's had bulimia... I understand your desperation. I also get the whole, I can't lose weight the healthy way thing. Smoking however is a bad idea... I've had family members die from smoking plus, they just look really bad when they're older. Since your under 18.. I'm going to assume your parents don't know but if they do.. get help. it's not going to go away on it's own.. nothing you can do will stop it. (Smoking can curb your appetite but the ED generally doesn't give a damn about that if you have bulimia, binge ED, or an EDNOS) You should start telling people.. It's really hard but it's necessary if you want the eating disorder to go away. If you really need someone to talk to you can message me... Good luck babes, I wish you the best.
Smoking definitely won't help. That's just going to start you on a really expensive addiction so I wouldn't recommend it. Try to get into a routine instead. Don't follow any of those tapes or diets just do healthy stuff. Personally I made a routine for myself with some simple weights and a running plan in the woods behind my house. I do about 3 or 4 times a week. If you're ever feeling down I would recommend running. It can really do wonders to clear your head. If you're not into that then cycling or any other aerobic exercise it good. Just try not to think of it as a 'plan' more of a new lifestyle. First thing in the morning is really the best time for me to do my routine since I know I won't do it if I wait and put it off.
Hope what I said made a little sense, let me know if you have any questions about anything :)
it may reduce your appetite but it really won't address the mental issue that is causing your eating disorder. It's also replacing one bad (potentially fatal) problem with another
I simply don't think you should use cigarettes as a way to help you lose weight. talk to a therapist about the sources of your eating disorder

Smoking won't help you. The thing with smoking is it builds the habit of always putting something in your mouth. If it helps for the first month then you'll likely revert back to your eating habits but worse when you realize you can't chain smoke in today's society. Then when you want to quit you'll end up replacing smokes with food seen as you now have a well established hand to mouth habit. The result is you will be fatter than you ever were.
You need to get out of the habit of filling idleness with eating. Try drinking loads of water instead or something that won't harm you until you are comfortable not filling the void. If the answers you get here don't change your mind then there are always electric cigarettes that contain no nicotine. You're still inhaling vapours into your lungs which can't be good but at least it's not tar and nicotine.
But really you can just choose not to eat. You underestimate your power in this. I know there's no acceptable way to say "just don't eat". I just think people these days eat way more than their bodies need and then you're not allowed point out the elephant in the room when they complain about their weight.honestly, don't mean to be mean but that is the most stupid thing I have ever heard in my life. You clearly do not care about yourself but you must only care about your vanity because why would you destroy your health to be a bit leaner!
firstly, smoking actually SLOWS down your metabolsim. hence why people say they don't want to quit because they will gain weight. this is true, because your body is not healthy inside therefore it cannot produce a proper fat burning system. Smoking suppresses most peoples appetite, hence the reason why they appear leaner. but the second you stop smoking you will be even worse off than you are now. not to mention, if you are worried about your appearance, it will rott your teeth and dry out your skin.
i understand you are feeling hopeless about what to do but smoking is not the answer. its a temporary and not even effective way to keep your weight down. in fact long term wise it will make it worse. You should go talk to specilists or doctors. perhaps you have homrnal imbalances. hence the overeating, binge eating, high appetite. there could be all sorts of things. smoking is just like putting a bandaid on the wound, its not solving your problem its just hiding it away by smoking. please please do not smoke. solve this issue the rgiht way, even if its the harder way.No a therapist will help you with it, what is your issue, you need someone to help you, seriously let someone in you can trust, as a therapist I know what I am on about. if diets worked my friend, answer this, HOW MANY WOULD WE NEED? Diets do not work, I think ill open a hypno weight loss class, it would be great.
You'd be trading one problem for another(assuming it actually works). That'd be awful. Don't do it. And considering you're at least 16 years old, weighing 120 is completely normal.
You need to seek therapy. Don't substitute one addiction for another. I'm the same height as you and I would kill to be 120 again! That actually is a HEALTHY weight for our height.
Admittedly yes it can help with controlling food cravings, but no offence (and this is my opinion only) it instantly makes you a lot less attractive.
Unfortunately, smoking can only help with living disorders.
