What allergy medicine do you take?

I have asthma and allergies its seem like its getting worse and it's not even spring yet. Im trying to compare meds so I could get the best one that will work for me. What do you take for your allergies amd does it work on nasal congestion too? Thanks in advance!!!

I'm asthmatic, too, and sometimes get rhinitis along with it. I take Claritin, an antihistamine, for the sniffles. Other over-the-counter antihistamines are: Benadryl, Allegra and Zyrtec. Sudafed is a good decongestant. If you're looking for an antihistamine-decongestant combination, try Claritin-D, Allegra-D and Zyrtec-D.

Corticosteroids are used to target the allergy itself and not its symptoms. Usually these are prescription drugs. Nasal sprays like Flonase, Rhinocort or Nasocort. Oral ones are prednisone or prednisolone. Inhaled ones are Flovent or Pulmicort.

I usually take Claritin or Sudafed because I get really bad stuffy noses from allergies and that really helps to clear my nose up. A lot of tissues also works for me too, I guess :P

you have to get the decongestant varieties but I have pretty bad allergies and these one a day pills work very well for me
