Real tree or fake tree?

Do you have a real Christmas tree or a fake one. I have a fake one.

Fake tree. It's a 6.5 ft flocked tree I got last year-

I just couldn't see myself buying a real tree, watering and pruning it to keep it looking good until Christmas is over: too much maintenance for me, lol. I just put pine tree scent candles or wall plugins in if I want a "real tree smell."

U buy a bunch of wreaths to put in my windows. I bring a few indoors and that is where the pine smell comes from

We have a real tree. Part of our tradition is going out as a family to get the tree. It would feel odd if that trip was to the basement.

I used to go to the Boy Scouts to buy a tree and one year I cut down my own. It was pretty expensive. That was the year I bought the fake tree. It was at least ten years ago.

We night from the Boy Scouts a few times and we were going to the same farm for years to cut our own. This year, they are closed so we went to a lot that was relatively cheap and got a really nice tree.

I saw them around here for 160 bucks. I figured I would use the fake tree again for free

The first place we went to had prices like that... $160 for an 8 or 9' tree and they were sad looking. 😳

The second place we went to had beautiful trees. We got it for$55.

We have a "realistic artificial tree". Up until a few years ago, we always got a real tree from the local boy scouts or high school. But they got to be so expensive. $100 for a tree that you're going to discard in 6 weeks? Not worth it. So we got a fake tree. Looks very nice.

Have away thr fakes which i had for years. Got a real one in the yard we decorate. None inside house. Stupd… kill tree for single use when we need to take co2 out of the air.

I don't have a tree as I go to my parent's house for Christmas. I let them get the tree. I don't need the headache of disposing of it afterward, or storing an artificial tree.

Fake but I keep buying new fake ones because the lights go out. I'm sure it's fixable but I'd rather just give them away than fix it😂

Fake ones are safer. In our family, we have had both.
(I've never had one personally as an adult, though.)

We had a real tree the first year we were married. After that we got a fake tree. I finally got the balsam hill flip tree that my wife wanted for the last 3 years. It was not cheap so it better be the last tree we own

@sparkie460 Our first Christmas we were really broke. My mother gave us a box or ornaments that she got from where she worked and I went in the woods behind my house and just cut down a regular pine tree. It was pretty pathetic looking at first but after we decorated it it actually looked pretty good. I still have some of those ornaments and think about how hard it was when we first got married.

When I was growing up, weve had real trees but I've seen how much they dry out, and the pain of cleaning up the fallen needles. The real tree is real and prettier, but the fake is more economical, serves the same purpose..
