Like other people have pointed out, they're two different things, being treated like a queen and being submissive. I'd like the submissive part, not the queen part.
Basically, the ideal guy is someone who does what I tell him without evoking macho bullschitt brick walls and allows me to control him. Probably comes from my mother and father, in both senses. My mother has always controlled the marriage, but it takes a lot of battling with my father to get him to do or listen to something and then usually he does it. Just cut the bullschitt and do it, you know? I experience the same thing with him. In our family, though, we're both smarter than him and the stuff he comes up with is just stupid, so I just feel the dumber partner should do whatever the smarter one says (which I think is the whole idea of the man being more dominant in the relationship anyway historically, i. e. the idea that they're the smarter one because they're men). To me, no offense meant, but most of the time the smarter one is the woman and I know a lot of married men who admit this. Whenever my father doesn't do what we say, stuff usually ends up f*cked up.
The queen part makes me think of being worshipped, the guy rolling out the red carpet, constantly complimenting, being overly romantic, etc. Not wanted at all. I'm a regular person, so being worshipped is so odd. Just do what I tell you, and we're good.
I would want a guy like that. I dont like overly aggressive type of men. When I was younger, I was into guys like that. But I want that guy that adores me and who really will do anything to make me happy and I will do the same for him. Not someone who is so cocky and arrognant that feels that since he is attractive and that a lot of females want him that he can just treat me any kind of way or have me on his time. Been there and done that. Not dealing with that anymore.
umm I guess you can be a king while treating her like a queen. not necessary that you have to turn into a slave to treat her like a queen.
if you submit for everything, then you will find yourself in a relationship with only control freaks , psychopaths or the ones who need you for an ego boost and then dump your ass after a while. or the one who likes to cuckold his man and cheating on him when he is right there.
I want my husband to be the backbone of the relationship. He can be submissive and reasonable in small, insignificant things, but when shit hits the fan, I want to be able and submit to him. I want him to be able and lead me to safety.
Treating your spouse Like a queen is different then worshipping them and being their bitch. No I wouldn't marry someone who was this submissive , its not Attractive
Because a man who bows down and does whatever someone tells him to do isn't an ideal spouse for me , I dont like guys who can't stand up for themselves and I'm not a fan of being the dominant one
@watercolor_lions exactly, Itd be creepy to be Ina relationship with someone who worshipped me and couldn't disagree with me , and vice versa. I can treat my spouse like a king without bowing down to whatever they say. That's just not healthy
No way. I mean being treated nicely is one thing. But a queen needs a king. To me what you describe more like being treated like a slave. And I definitely prefer to be slightly submissive.
I don't like pussy whipped men so I won't marry someone who is submissive. I don't like overly dominant men either but I want someone with opinions and ideas.
Submissive person doesn't equate to a slave like it's portayed in the pictures. 😒 Usually they are more nicer and caring people. And less likely to cheat because they truly do care.

probably not, i want a guy with bark and bite not just puppy eyes thats boring and i would probably get mad at him a lot..
