@havingfun101 oh well... I just don't get it.. married and whose name etc.. I'm perfectly fine living with my boyfriend and it would change nothing because some priests or whatever said you're now married... furthermore if his name was joe dipshit mcgruff I'd say we keep Dawson
@havingfun101 nope, we ain't planning babies yet. Besides what difference does married make? People get divorced all the time. Besides what's wrong with being a single mom? I know lots of single moms. It's not necessarily a bad thing
If you want me to marry you then there's no option but to take my surname, but if you don't like that arrangement then i don't ask/ bother me about the subject.
Most guys would like his new wife to take his last name but it's not mandatory. If she's a professional and her business has her last name i wouldn't expect her to take my name.
Why, she does not have to. Have a double barrel name, which both take both surnames..

I'm of the opinion that we should go to a four name system. With your first, middle, maternal, and paternal names in that order. The man takes his wife's maternal name and the woman takes her husband's paternal name.

pers i think most people should, it's kinda tradition. if you really don't want to change yours, i'd say at least add it
I don't care if she does or doesn't and that's for the better
Do you not see all these women making a big deal out of nothing
I don't need those problems
Yes, cause she's THE MAN'S property. She belongs to THE PENISED ONE.
Well said
Thanks
That's up for the couple to decide. If he has brothers, then I def want him to take my name
If both agree to do so, then yes.
If not then noppers.
Who gives a crap.. I'll let you know if I ever get married
Hahahaha!

I chose "Don't you sass me woman!"
@havingfun101 lol ahaha I don't know I guess things that are a big deal to someone don't usually bug me but... the name? Seriously bro...
Chick-sis-girl-homie: 77% of blacks and 49% of browns are raised by single mothers.
@havingfun101 ok ... well that's not good I guess...
As you can see: ya can't get married. Hurry up and report me like the other single mothers in waiting.
@havingfun101 what? Y would I report u lmao
You haven't done me nothing
And I'm sure if I asked my boyfriend if we should merry, he'd probably say yes
We don't really care about it thou... at least I don't...
Ah, the boyfriend-no-husband, future single mother approach.

See what I mean? The process has already started. Single mothers raise 80% of prisoners and that's not the worst of it.
@havingfun101 sounds bad
It's all good until the circle reaches princess in her castle.
@havingfun101 I guess... I don't know much about it obviously
You'll learn one way or another.
@havingfun101 unless I get married before I get a baby and then don't get divorced I guess
There's a 30% chance of that happening.
@havingfun101 yeah...33.33334 actually... two out of three things have to go right. 100 divided by 3 is 33.33334
'Actually'

taking the last name isn't just a sign of union, it is also a sign of respect and understanding.
It honestly depends if I feel it flows nice lol. Ill be willing to add his name but I was tild to never drop my last name

She doesn’t have to but I will because his last name is better.
i wouldn't give a shit. i don't want to pay for a name change twice
I agree or at least add it to her name if she doesn't want to lose hers.
Fully agree, I want people to know that she's all mine even tho idgaf about them.
I'd like her to dont really think is a deal breaker tho
Why, she does not have to.

Unless she has a degree or following with her maiden name. My mom kept her last name because she was already a MD before getting married
I'd take my wife's or husband's last name, why not. But like if they didn't want too whatever
who cares? not me, do as you like, there are real problems
