Does the phrase "making an honest man/woman out of them" still exist?

Tdieseler
It just popped into my head for a second that seeing the number of people who before they get married go "gonna make an honest person out of (insert name here)" and then they get married where they make vows, and those vows end in "... till death do us part"...
So it occurred to me after looking at divorce rates and the percentage of folk who instigate them..😑😒(women), wheres the honesty?

I mean, we have been married 3 years and you want out, there is absolutely nothing wrong with that. But you made a vow... till Death do us part and now you wanna part, and that is absolute fine... but you ain't dead... or do you need help? lets keep you honest.
Im speaking as an unmarried person, but im genuinely asking a real question... where IS the honesty now?

My opinion above is only very little of what i have to say about the matter, but i'd like to hear others first. Oh.. and for the condescending who are too stupid to just answer the question and would rather attack the asker because of their thoughts... read my disclaimer in one of my articles here:
