So this guy and me have met at work and we been talking and getting to know each other for over a year ish and anyways he was eager to marry me?

So his black and I’m from different culture and race, so it it kinda made it difficult on me to say yes I’ll marry you etc Bc it’s harder on my side Bc my family is let’s say “old school” and believe I should technically stick to my own race and traditions etc so I happen to tell him my brother is getting married and it happened so quick and he was like why can’t I marry you? And I told him my dad said that people should stick with their own culture and race and he got upset at me and was like this is 2022 and his like god will get him Bc I’m a gods child and than he was like I’m not talking to you again and hung up so after that it’s been a month and he never messaged or called me so I’m guessing I should just move on?

You already made your decision when you said you couldn’t rush to marry because of what your dad believes. That’s your loss and your issue. If you really cared about him and was interested what your father feels wouldn’t be a factor. It’s funny you actually believe he should contact you again because at this point you’d be wasting his time and yours.
