Can I be overthinking or not about this I talk to at work?

So this guy and me we met at work and we aren't dating but he really wants to be with me, I've have known him for about a year and couple months since I've been working at this department with him and so we went out for a coffee after work just to talk etc and he brings up this girl that also works in similar department as we do and he knows her and talks to her here and there ( she did get married to a guy from my department and his friends with the guy I went out for a coffee) either way the girl got pregnant and he mentioned how he feels bad for her and that his really worried about her bc she hasn't been feeling well the past week, I'm like hey do you by any chance have some kinda thing for her bc you bring her up often etc I'm like shouldn't her husband be the one worried about her and scared not you? Like what she gotta do with you and that made me mad or am I overthinking? His like I talk to her all the time about you and how I really wanna be with you and she is the only person that understands my pain and either way I was just soo mad like am I overthinking or he has a thing for her ( she is quite attractive female)
