My parents want me to get married to my boyfriend. We were supposed to come to his parents house to discuss the date of the wedding. On the last day before coming to his parents house, i told my parents that i am not ready to marry.
My dad already made a promise to discuss the date of the wedding to his parents when he's going to come to their house. My dad breaks the promise and ends up not discussing about the wedding in the end when we came to his parents house a few days ago.
Now his family is upset with my parents and think that he's being indecisive and arrogant for cancelling his plans. The truth is i was the one that caused him to cancel his plans. I told him that we should coming to his parents house just to pay a visit and without discussing about the marriage thing because i am not ready to marry
Now my boyfriend's parents told him to stay away from me, to keep a distance from me and ask him to just leave me. They told him to just leave my city and go back to his family because all of this thing is too risky..

you are not some doll, not some object to discuss and marry off. wtf is this? not in america i'm assuming? marriage is much more than this... if you're not ready, it's best to break up with this weirdo. you DO NOT want these people as your mother/father in law.
Where do you live? In most places you are a legal adult and have no obligation to marry at your parent's behest.
That should keep there noise out of both your lives nothing wrong with not being ready stuck to your guns
