What to give friends with benefits for his birthday?

What should I give him for his birthday? Like his birthday is Dec. 6th, and were at college so were in school for one more week after that. Also, we are basically friends with benefits, but with like one or two dates ever, but definitely more a of a friends with benefits relationship. And I'm not looking to be together with him.

Anywho, I'm not sure if I'm supposed to get him a gift. Should I get him something personal? Should it just be really hot sex? Should I combine it with the Christmas idea and dress up super sexy chirstmasy and have sex with him? I've never been in one of these types of relationships so I have no idea what to do.

I buy things for my lover even tho it's not his birthday or Christmas. We have been together for 6 years as friends with benefits the last 3 years has been exclusive. In the past year he has started telling me he loves me. So I think there is hope for some relationships like this. If you want to buy him something do it, at this point you don't have much to lose. Tell him you were thinking about him and wanted to get him something, plain and simple. If he can't handle it he will let you know, but if you don't do it you will never know.

It's obvious you want to take things further with him. If you don't do him anything for his birthday, he may see it as a slap in the face. Besides there may be other girls he knows who are thinking about the same thing as you are. If you get him a gift or you decide you want to have 'hot sex', you may stand out from the other girls and this will make you look silly. But If you want to be closer to him, then go for it girl. . . I'm glad you have the maturity to have this type of relationship and not be fooled by society into thinking it's wrong. Do what's right for YOU!

You can get him something, maybe a bottle of champagne that both of you can have together before you hook up. You can dress up for him in lingerie and tell him your going to give him the best bj ever for his birthday...or something like that, you get the idea I hope.

Don't buy him expensive or very thoughtful things. Instead do something for him.

no gift, just tell him happy birthday, give him a smile and pay him a drink. If any of my friends with benefits gives me a gift it means she probably wants more than friends with benefits and I wouldn't be comfortable with it. Plus, does it mean she expects gifts too etc etc... Fwb are meant to be simple and healthy, not complicated and with expectations. So avoid any misunderstanding and keep it super simple.
