Weird friends with benefits situation?

So, my crush and I were basically friends with benefits. We didn't exactly mention being friends with benefits, but that's basically what we were. We would send each other dirty texts and pictures through Snap. I even gave him oral once so yeah you can say we were friends with benefits. So this all ended when we were having dirty talk and I asked for some pics in return, and he put up lame excuses that he couldn't, and kept switching the convo back to me. But I asked persistently, and even said I would not plan sleeping on him if he can't even send a picture back to me. He simply said sorry, but I obviously wasn't accepting it. A few hours later of him leaving me on read, he erased me from his snapchat, but not Instagram. He does not say hi when I see him at school anymore, but I do catch him giving me glances. Are we over? Is he temporarily mad at me? Will he add me back on Snapchat one day? I miss talking to him and I have no idea what to do. I thought he liked me more than a friends with benefits since he would ask if i had ever had a boyfriend and we also didn't always talk about sex, but our convos would sometimes eventually turn that way.

Here is the deal with friends with benefits, If that is the path your going to go down, you have to make that clear from the beginning. If your going to go down that path, it basically means that you guys are friends, but find each other physically attractive and you have sex for fun and because you guys find each other attractive. It doesn't necessarily mean (especially with guys) that your looking for anything more than that. So he may still think you are attractive but doesn't want to be in a "boyfriend and girlfriend" relationship with you. And since it sounds like that's what you want, I would move on and find another guy who is looking for a companion to love and care about spend time with instead of just having sex with and occasionally doing fun things with. I hope I could be of some help, even though I've never had a friend with benefits. I know some friends and people that have though.

That makes sense, I understand but I don't know why he didn't explain it to me and why he would randomly delete me. I also never pressured him into a relationship, I never brought it up. Only he was the one who asked me if I had ever been in a relationship, or have ever done "this" with another guy before.

Honestly he sounds like a fuckboy. He probably found someone new. In his mind someone "better & more interesting". But who knows really? Ask him, that's the only way you will know! If he doesn't answer you or dodge the question, move on to better things :) Lots of better options out there you're not even 18 yet so!

Would asking him be too desperate? That's what I fear, and also fear that he'd be getting an ego boost from it.

It's not normal behavior to not say hi all of a sudden and delete you from snapchat from nowhere. Either you did something or he's an asshole. Simple as that. So no, it's not desperate, regardless moving on seems like your best option here! Best of luck whatever you choose :)

You're right, but I did not do anything "rude" except that one day, since I said I would not invite him over for "more". Either he got offended, or he's like an asshole like you said.
