My crush got arrested? What is going to happen?

Apparently, the guy that I liked in my class got arrested for picking the lock and breaking into school. I wanted to date him. If I were to date him, what would happen to me? I never thought he was like this way. Do you think he's on drugs if he tried to pick the lock for the gates? Why do you think he tried to break in? I'm scared because I don't know if I will see him in a VERY long time :/ or never.. What to do? plus he's only 18.

Hopefully, you'll get a new crush. It's possible that this could have been a one time thing, but actions like that rarely are. You should avoid any kind of relationship with him until he straightens his life out. There is no such thing as subjective reality—things won't work out just because you really want them to, nor will he change for you no matter how much you like him or want him to. Right now, he's probably headed down a bad road. Hopefully, he'll straighten himself out (I've seen it happen a few times), but the odds are against it.

I don't see why it would have anything to do with drugs. It could be for any reason, most likely because of mischief. It could also be to steal things. It could be to vandalize the school. It could be to change his grades. Could be anything.

As far as dating him, it's certainly not a positive thing. He's probably just being a stupid teenager. It's just that some are stupider than others.

I wouldn't try to question his motives obviously they were no good.
There is no excuse for picking a lock and breaking into a school building.
He may seem like a nice guy, but clearly he has some issues with obeying the law.

If you are 25 or older why are interested in a child? I'm sorry but 18 year olds are immature children. However the fact that you are interested in an 18 year old criminal doesn't speak much to your maturity either.

Maybe he has a valid reason for breaking into the school. Try to put aside the stereotype of drugs and crime and think about the reason you started liking him for. If you no longer crush on him then it's time to move on and not be hung up on it, if you still like him, then prepare yourself for a very tricky road full of complications. If you were somehow able to date him, you would see him on visits to prison, if he is sent to prison, and then when or if he gets out and if he still wants to be dating you then good luck!
