Before I was even a tween, a neighborhood girl & I were in a park for some event and got near a big & dark horizontal pipe. As we looked into it she told me she could see stuff in there, but it was so dark inside I asked "How?"
She then gave the explanation that she had a accident as a toddler and had her eye replaced with a glass one. Somehow that made her able to have night vision, and not believing her at first I went towards the pipe to look closer.
She stopped me saying there was some dangerous animal in there, if I got too close it'd grab me. Having somewhat recently watched the Neverending Story, I imagined that scary wolf in the pipe.
Being the innocent guy I was I believed it for years afterwards, even though it was never spoken of again. =P =j
You know how some cows are white and some are dark? For a long time I thought that white cows gave white milk and dark cows gave chocolate milk. It makes sense though.
White cow = White milk
Dark cow = Chocolate milk.

these childhood stories made me remember my friend... when she was little, an older girl told her she didn't have a brain and she started crying and later she accepted it and said "that's why i'm dumb. i don't have a brain.".
Growing up there was this dish we used to eat in the family, it looked like a thick red mixture. Very sweet. My sister had me convinced it was snake blood 😑. So I could never eat it even tho it didn't taste bad.
My grandmother convinced me that the false teeth she took out and placed by her bedside each night would talk to her until she fell asleep.

I have however fooled my cousin that the ends of cucumbers are poisonous, he doesn't eat them to this day. (he is like 25)

I was tricked by one my friend living in neighbourhood. There were few fighter planes flying over our house and suddenly he called me and said India has declared war against pakistan, watch the news fastly. I ran across my whole house shouting india has declared a war. As soon as I switched on the news everyone laughed at me. 😂😂😂. He made me.
This is a little dirty. When I was like 15 my older sister 18 and her friend tricked me into showing my sisters friend my dick. She said if you show me I will show you mine. Well she didn’t.
I have never brought this up to my sister and to be honest don’t care. I though he’s friend was hot so it really didn’t bother me other then the fact that I didn’t get to see her.
That when I grew up I could be anything I wanted to be.
Someone in my family taught me that "those" and "does" are the same word so when I had a spelling bee and the word was "those" it didn't go too well.
