Is a one inch difference in height noticeable at all?

You hear about guys who are 5'8 wish they were 5'9 so they can be considered average but you also hear about 5'11 guys wish they were 6ft so they can be considered tall. Im wondering what does an inch difference in height look like between 2 people. I feel like 90% of the time they would look exactly the same height.

Lots of generalizations are thrown out daily about how all men prefer blah blah and all women prefer blah blah. I think one of the more truthful generalizations based on research and feedback is most women prefer a taller man. A taller man helps them feel safer and they feel more feminine.

So if you hear guys wanting to be taller they are really saying they want to appeal to more women, have more options to date. If the reverse was true and women preferred shorter men, you would hear guys wanting to lose a few inches of height.

No, 5’11 and 6’ isn’t a noticeable difference. But from a numbers game if 6’ would be the minimum desired height of even 1% more women, that’s motivation for some guys to literally stretch the truth.

I once heard people generally only percieve height as greater than or lower than.

When you talk about height one inch difference in someone 5'11" isn't noticeable, compared to something 5" a one inch difference would certainly be noticeable.

No, not really. One inch is the difference between wearing shoes or wearing no shoes. It is nothing really.
