Maybe New York but due to lack of experience. I lived in LA and worked in Hollywood for a good while. I did not like many of the people I met that much. You know like that uptight type that drives some environment-friendly car and gives you an earful when you order rice about how it's not really very good for you. I don't click with those. Some of the people I got along with best in the US as far as states go are Texans. I might do better with New Yorkers at least.

I don't care..
As long as, the girl who cares about me and loves me...
And the whom I care about, feel protective about and love.
As long as we both are in each other's arms..
We can build home anywhere..
It's all about having the right person with you..
Otherwise being single or having wrong person with me will turn my life hell in any of these cities..
We're looking for another property to buy in sunny SoCal (not necessarily in L. A.) but we'll hold off for now.

New York because it seems like everyone there is consumed by the culture annd made to work hard for success. It seems like a totally different place from here in AUS. Wbu?
if you live in Australia don't bother with the US it's a hellhole of a country. it's so bad i'd do anything to get the fuck out of it
Having lived in nyc Iād pick LA. Iād never willingly live in LA but of these two Iād pick LA.
They both seem pretty terrible, but I guess LA has better weather.
i wasn't aware that l. a. had any skyscrapers, but i'd still choose it because i don't like the cold
Both are rapidly becomeing third world shit holes. I'd say LA if it was 1940's LA
New York. L. A. is too far south for me. I already live in the north so I'm used to cold weather.
If I was rich New York City. If I was just an average American it would be Los Angeles
Neither. Lol
I honestly don't want to choose at all.whichever one gives me the best chance of looking out the window in the morning and catching you sunbathing topless? Also, I'd pick Los Angeles. I love the area
Not crazy about either city, but if we are picking one of those two, I guess I'd go with L. A.
Probably L. A if I had to choose between those two.
Right about now I wouldn't want to live in either of those places.
LA! Lots of stuff to do there and the beach!
Tasmania at the moment
