What is the difference between a 18 year old brain and a 17 year old brain?

I have seen lots of images and articles comparing 21 year old brains with 17 year old brains and what not, there's clearly differences between the two. And I've seen it done with other ages too but I have yet to see the differences between an 18 year old brain and 17 year old brain. So can someone please tell me what the differences are? like I heard there is a decrease of grey matter?

I'm currently trying to figure out a lot about the brain and started doing research into how it develops.

Not much. It varies for everyone but there can be almost no sign of any difference between years close together like that. Not a lot changes in one year within that time period really. Unless your an actual kid or baby.

The frontal cortex is more fully developed the older you get. It is fully developed around 25 years old.

Not much, which is why a lot of states have sexual consent ages starting at 17 and so on.

Almost nothing maybe a tiny little less maturity but remember 18 is just a magic number that the government created for being legal. It is not real.

Your brain isn't fully developed until 25 on average. The difference is it is less developed. You make more irrational decisions etc
