Have you ever lost your wallet?

Question

I went to a drag show tonight and now my wallet is gone 💀

The venue we went to was right next to Fenway park while a Red Sox vs Yankees game was going on and there was a lot of people so I wouldn’t be surprised if I got pick pocketed

I’m not even worried about my cards or my id because I can just get new one but it was a $500 Louis Vuitton wallet so that fucking sucks 😐😐😐

whatever, it is what it is. I’m not that worried about it. I’m also fuckifn drunk right now so I’m sure when I’m sober tomorrow I’ll be a little more concerned.

So many times, my family call me headless chicken.
1. college, Was a cheap wallet. I left it out in the library study cubicle while going to the bathroom. and someone walked by and took it. Someone sent it back to my home about a week to two weeks later. I had only $20. Might have cost that person $20 to send back to me. Nothing else missing.
2. I have a Burberry wallet ($500?) with ids and cards. I had no idea it was gone. I visited my facial, the receptionist recognized me and gave me my wallet. Everything was there except for whatever money I had. They said they saw my picture Id so they returned to me. No idea who found it and who returned to my facial spa.
3. a month ago, I went to target to buy a few things with my daughter, I didn’t bring my purse, just my Chanel cultch with my other smaller Chanel card/money holder. I set it somewhere … yeah dumb… target is big who will return a Chanel bag. I had $30. inside… well I got to my car, I car wouldn’t unlock because I didn’t have my wallet/key. I called my husband to come bring my other key. He said to go to lost and found… I did a walk through the areas we walked … nothing… on the way out… I said… what the heck… where is the lost and found. Well… was just sitting there with the guy… and $30. Gone… whatever…. Car key and everything still there…

Then turned out it was inside my shopping bag inside my moms vehicle

Im not worry about money but worry about ID, debit card, driver license, and another cards of mine and just thinking about making new of them was already overwhelmed

I was at an amusement park about 10 years ago. Went into a fudge shop with my wife and left my wallet suiting on the counter by the register (i had 500 dollars cash in there). Took me about 10 minutes to realize it was gone. Starting freaking out and retracing my steps in my mind. Finally realized where I left it and went back. By some miracle it was still there and untouched. I also left my phone and my wallet on top of my car about 5 years back. I was running late for work. I worked 30 minutes away and didn't realize it until I got all the way there my stuff was missing. I left work and went home thinking I might have just left them on the counter but soon realized what I had done. By some miracle once again someone found my lost items on the road and found my old work ID from my previous job in my wallet and brought my stuff to my old job and left with a trusted coworker who then called my wife. My phone was complete toast but my wallet held up.

I had a lot of errands to do one day. At the end of the day my wallet was gone. So I retraced my steps and asked the attendants if someone turned in a wallet. No one had.

I was ready to give up then I had an idea. Why not check the gym I went to? I was only there for 10 minutes. They have a bed massage I used for 10 minutes. I checked there and the attendent said no.

I was getting ready to go and another idea came. Why not check the massage bed? I used it about 6 hours ago. I checked the massage bed and it was on the bed. My louis vuitton wallet was black and so was the massage bed.

I've had so many inspirational ideas like this come up. I should do a thread and ask if this is common.

I was sitting at the beach just wearing a a pair of baggy shorts. When I was getting ready for bed I noticed my wallet was gone. I figured it fell out of my back pocket when I was at the beach. I got a flashlight and walked to the beach to look around. The tide had come in and the place where I was sitting was underwater. I looked all over the place but could not find it. I got up early the next day and went down at low tide. I found the wallet right where I was sitting I just had to spread out the contents on my window sill and let it dry in the sun. I was really lucky.

Yup; I worked a night shift and forgot my wallet in either the centre console or the passenger seat. Car was broken into. Took the wallet and my Nintendo 3DS that I had put in the console as well. Never got the DS back but the wallet was thrown into a yard a few doors down, all they took was my Platinum Edge card for a video game store probably thinking it was a credit card. My debit card was in my phone case. Wallet was returned the day it was stolen.

No. I’ve never lost my wallet or purse. I did have a guy grab my cart (purse inside) and start causally walk away but it didn’t take long to notice and I stopped him. He apologized and said he thought it was his cart. Probably was a lie but no harm was actually done so I let it go. (Can’t prove intent unless he actually went through my purse which he didn’t.)

I did but I find it, it was in one of my coat pocket but it was a old one who I haven't used since 2 years so I didn't thought of checking it (it's my sister who told me to look into all my coat pocket, I have tons of them XD).

Yes I lost my wallet once. It was a real pain in the ass. I had to call all my credit card companies and tell them the time and place I lost my wallet and have them cancel my credit cards. Then they had to issue new cards which took 10 - 14 working days. Then I had to get a new driver's license and social security card. You got a lot of work ahead of you in the days to come.
