What is a good habit that has changed you that you would recommend to others?

What is a good habit that has changed you that you would recommend to others?
I have a list for you:
_Reduce your social media and electrical devices times unless you need them as much as possible.
_Read useful skill books, like your professions, your study subjects, IT books.
_Learn a new language (good for jobs if needed), it also helps your brain (research backed this claim).
_Exercises 40 min a day on average. People's cognitive ability is often influenced by their state of health, including sickness, drunk, drugged, etc
_Find an artistic hobby: drawing, playing music.
_Control your sleep routine.
_Eat healthy foods.
_Think before you talk and hold yourself back, criticise yourself if needed openly or secretly.
_Learn to stay safe, read about how people get involved in bad things, like traffic accidents, sickness, attacks by mobs etc.
_Pick friends (yes, friends will take a lot of your time, better make it worth it).
_Use good chairs, beds and shoes, those items are important for health.
_Compare to yourself only but do study everyone, especially your opponents or competitors.
_Learn that you don't need to be alone to solve things sometimes, seek help or guidance.
_Listen to psychological videos also help your stay away from issues and identify hidden issues.
_Don't fancy an early marriage or relationship if you prioritise career (tho if the partner is great, it's actually a boost). In short, don't clingy to shitty relationships.
Definitely needed to hear that last one 😂 thank you !
Talking to Jesus (God) all the time. It has completely changed my life. Many say that prayer “doesn’t work”. These people don’t understand the purpose of prayer. That may offend some people and that’s fine. People are easily offended these days in general. Pretty much no matter what you say, SOMEONE will be offended. So why bother trying to avoid it.
Don't snack late at night or eat much in the evening after a certain point. The metabolism doesn't process the calories in the same way as during active hours. It's hormone-melatonin-related.
If you're drinking only when you're thirsty, it's not enough.
Don't day drink. If you limit it to when the sun is down, you drink far less often.
Many artificial sweeteners are worse for you than natural sweeteners. Avoid them, is a best practice. Reduce sugar overall, and eventually you acclimatize to the taste and won't need it nearly as much. Same goes with many things - moderation is a key to life.
Don't treat others as they treat you, or as you see them treat others. Actually, you can alter, or better to say influence, their behaviour by your own behaviour. Don't sink. Elevate.
No one's going to protect you like you can protect yourself, find your own way to be safe and to defend yourself.
Stop accepting everything people say to you. Think for yourself.
Analyse people and trust your gut.
Don't care about what people think, this is all about you, it's your life you're living, you're the most important person in your life.
Avoid or get far from people that don't make you feel good, even if that person is your aunt, your sibling, an old friend. Their cycle in your life is over, if they're not good for you they don't belong in your present.
Don't trust in whoever tells you they're trustful and want the best for you... Not even the government...

For me it was journalig and planning stuff out by writing them down and learning to work with to do lists and small schedules
Becoming a vegetarian and implementing intermittent fasting!
Basically I changed my poor eating habits and it's improved my overall health. Food can be poison rather than fuel to your body depending on what you put in it.
Loved this question! It instantly caught my attention and I just had to comment.
I’ve been looking into intermittent fasting but I’m not sure which one I should do. Do you do 8/16 ?
Thanks by the way 🙂
Of course, beautiful! And I dont follow a specific fasting plan. I've chosen to refrain from eating 20 hrs of the day. I feast for four hours. These hours are from 4:00pm to 8:00pm.
During my feasting hours, I consume my protein, complex carbohydrates, etc. I strive to stay under 1200 calories a day. I also workout 3-5 times a week to help decrease my appetite and to keep myself busy during the fasting hours.
It's not something I personally recommend but this is what works for my body. Everyone's body is different, so I would recommend modifying whichever program you choose to suit your nutrition needs and lifestyle.
Hope this helps. 💕
Waking up early to kick my own butt to do what I gotta do everyday! Make my bed nicely and snugly. Workout 🏋️♀️ , drink my water intake for the whole day, take care of myself and face the world out there without expectations so I don’t get disappointed 😑. 🤣 it works!
When it comes to eating healthier and eliminating most things with sugar I found once you don't eat sugary foods or junk food for like 2 weeks you no longer crave it. In fact, I found that when you walk by it in a grocery store it doesn't even appeal to you anymore. (this includes syrups, sauces like bbq sauce, cereal, etc.)
I thought it would be really hard to break that habit, but it was surprisingly much easier. 😃
When I was 22yrs old I started working out and eating healthy. 13 years later it hasn't changed and still consistently doing them daily. My body has consistent energy, muscles, and feel good everyday. After I eat organic healthy food, I feel normal. Unlike unhealthy food that makes you feel like crap right after or later. My positive healthy lifestyle has influenced many people around me during my life.
I've minimized cursing, because cursing is a way to rile you up and make you feel aggressive. I'll still curse when already mad, but won't if I'm not already mad.
I've also stopped caring what other people think of me, especially girls.
Protecting peoples feelings gives you joy, when you care for other people’s emotions, God cares for your emotions, also accept God’s advice, even if you don’t like it, God knows more than you do.
Staying positive. This world is full of people that would love nothing more than to see us miserable, so surrounding yourself with activities and people you enjoy spending time with makes life worth living.
1 is reading book before I go sleep. They say that reading before going to sleep will help you be more focus in things we're doing. And as for me it makes me more relax when I'm reading before going to sleep.
I think drinking water/ eating healthy and exercising more frequently. I definitely feel a lot better after starting and even though I never felt bad about my body I definitely feel better after having started
Great question.
Not giving a FUCK what others think.
Lol. I'd like to think of it as advice or constructive criticism. I'll take it or leave. Not caring though can be a good thing towards assholes lol, not getting offended and whatnot.
I reduced my meal portions and managed to use less my mobile. This helped me regularise weight and sleep better.
More water, less caffeine.

WATER FASTING doing 48s and 72s occasionally.
Intermittent Fasting other times 22 hours fasting and 2 hour eating window.
Effortlessly stay fit and lean.
Healthy eating, boxing training, lifting weights, getting 8-10 hours sleep per night. Stop drinking soda drinks and eating fast food.

Joining Taekwondo was one of the best things I did for myself.
