I accidentally ran over a skunk once. I used to kill bugs. I stopped killing bugs about a year ago. I don’t kill anything willingly. I don’t eat meat. I have no reason to kill any animals for food.
I've killed insects, mice, and run over animals while driving, with the latter being unintentional. None of it bothered me. I've also euthanized my ill pets when they could no longer live without extreme pain or function. That is a sad day, but it has to be done or they just suffer more, and you'll be just as sad when they die, or maybe worse because you had to watch it.
I did and I felt really bad and never did again. I took oath not to kill any person and I'm the one in the house picking up bugs and ants so they can live outside.
for a while I was vegetarian but I indirectly kill animals I eat now.
I tend to value giving things a chance to live, as much as possible.
Yes, I have. I am an avid hunter, so I do it to put meat in my freezer not to put a head on the wall. I have had to put down wounded and sick animals, and I have raised animals strictly for the purpose of eating them. If a person kills an animal for the fun of it they need to see a shrink. For me it is just the natural order of things.
I’ve never killed an animal but I believe if you want to eat an animal you should be willing to kill an animal. Because otherwise not only are you paying someone else to hurt their soul but your also not treating the animal with dignity.
I'm a hunter. I've killed a few ducks. But what I kill, I dress, eat and feed my family. Other than that, and the possibility of a deer, which I'd do the same with, only insects, a rat or mouse.
Welcome to the club. You’re not officially a native of our state until you’re out for a drive in November and clobber a deer looking for love instead of cars.
yea snails bugs and animals i find inferior and disgusting and not cute. I don't think we are coded to feel bad for those but we are internally feeling bad for cute fluffy mammals like dogs and bunnies. And beautiful birds. But killing a snake is okay I guess.
killed rats, mice, fish, spiders, bugs, and when i was a kid a squirrel, snails, slugs. haven't felt guilty about except a little for the mice cause they're cute
Deliberately? No. Well, spiders, roaches, ants, etc., that sort of thing. I have hit a few small animals with the car before but it was either hit the animal or crash the car and hurt humans.
I’ve killed a few animals. I shot a mouse with an airsoft gun and regretted it, and I hit a snake with a lawn mower and had to kill it because it was just way to damaged to survive, I don’t regret that one, it was a mercy kill.
Yes and so has everyone on the planet by proxy. Outsourcing your bacon to Monsanto to relieve you of the responsibility. Furthermore, had it not been for animal protein, you'd still be a Neanderthal, you're welcome.

I ran over a squirrel once. It was an accident.
I really took you as a hunter
no, I do not hunt. I heve been known to set up some mouse traps.

A rabbit once when I was out shooting with a friend and his brothers when I was in college.
I hit a deer with my wife's car a few weeks back and now I have a vendetta, so... yeah, I really want to get a hunting license now!

I'm gearing up for my first proper small game hunt. .22 calibre air rifle with a.177 pistol as backup, hunting rabbits, guinea fowl, geese, ducks.
I fish for food.
Why not? The only difference is the package it's wrapped in.

actually I've felt bad about killing spiders before..

I have, without any remorse and I would again. Without context.
Lmao

Yes. A deer buck and I was surprised how fast it died. I felt a lot of euphoria after I've hit it.
A lot of street cats and street dogs. In Iraq, street animals are dangerous for carying disease.
Nope, don’t have it in me. Unless it’s a scary bug that got in my apartment.
The cockroaches will carry you away if you're not careful!
😂 oh hush
🤣🤣🤣

I'd also add humans are a species of animal. We forget this. We're animals too.
In my case, insects... regularly... and there is no remorse at all !!!
It kills me everytime I run over a squirrel or rabbit on the road.
