Do you care about personal space? Or am I too sensitive?

So I recently came back from Disneyland Paris and I'm shocked, personal space is not a thing there. You have any amount of space to be and yet you're so close that you're touching my back/bag. We were in a queue waiting for a ride and my daughter jumped into me and I took a single step back and somehow stepped on someone's feet. I was flustered and said sorry but I still don't get why they were that close. Even in a queue I kept about an arm's length or slightly more distance between someone else.

There was a time I was pulling my suitcase behind me and despite there being no person in front of me as I walked forwards I again managed to roll over someone's foot, which was super bizarre to me.

Little one is 3, so has little legs, yet in a place that's more for kids than adults. No one really gave a damn about barging past cause we weren't at the end of the queue yet. If that had been me I'd caught up to the slowest ones, respected they were there first and walked at their speed behind them. It's not going to change the wait times at all, it's still the same wait, I can understand if there was no queue and you could walk on, but that wasn't the case here.

I've heard of the saying the Brits are the queuing people so was wondering if I am being a bit too sensitive, don't get me wrong I definitely enjoyed myself and would go again and someday Florida. But is what I described normal?

Also this does not apply to clubs/concerts/festivals I expect it there and it doesn't bother me, but rather busy, but open, stretches of space.
