Guys & Girls of GAG - why do so many men on this site go on & on about what women "bring to the table" when the average guy doesn't offer much himsel?

The average guy thinks that it's okay to sleep around, it's okay to not be loyal, it's okay to be a douchebag, etc. Just read the COUNTLESS posts by women on this site going on about the LOSERS they happened to come across. You ask my colleagues at work who try online dating and guys are constantly seeking sex on the first date, talking about sex, etc., etc.

So why do you men on this site go on about what do women bring to the table.

Look to yourselves & see if you're worthy of a woman who'll contribute & bring something to the table... you sort of have to contribute to her life too. Otherwise why would the women who are decent, respectable, etc waste her time on you?

I've always figured it was because of general incel culture. The whole thing of trying to reverse traditional standards back onto women when women are perfectly happy being alone over being anything traditional usually. It's not a very good strategy and I think they mostly do it because it makes them feel better about not having much to offer. Reject them before they can reject you kinda deal.

Because a lot of women demand that the guy does bring something to the table, and guys are asking those women what they bring to the table in response, basically calling them out for being hypocrites, because while these women demand this and that, they offer nothing of value in return, and basically treat men like they are their father, instead of their boyfriend/husband.

I don't date based on utility or income.

I date based on looks, shared hobbies, shared interests, shared goals, shared opinions and habits.
So I'd want basically another "me" mentally, but female physically.

So I'd be bringing nothing new to the table (aside from sex, love, affection, and a gaming and art buddy), and the same would be true for what she brings.

I've never had a woman ask me what I bring to the table, I'm cute, women are the ones who ask me out, i've never been the persuer, so i've never had to deal with convincing a woman that i'm worth her time.

As far as "any woman can offer sex and affection" goes, Most women are not gamers, most women don't avoid alcohol, smoking and drugs, most women aren't virgins, most women aren't talented artists, most women aren't atheists that follow science and like sci-fi and anime and dinosaurs. I could go on, but you should get the hint by now, what I want is NOT common, even though I just want a female "me".

She doesn't have to bring anything new to the table, but she can't be lacking anything thats not ALREADY AT the table.

There are definitely a lot of guys who don't bring much to the table, so you're not wrong. But is is indeed a fact that today's women bring very little to the table, compared to women of the past, in terms of what men actually care about and want from a woman. Sex is one of the few exceptions, which is why many guys are only looking for sex now.
