No, I don't think it shows whether the person is good or not. I think it's respectful to return it if you can, but sometimes it's not practical due to mobility issues or even time constraints. I wouldn't judge someone for it.
I return my shopping cart, and still think this is super judgmental. Sometimes people are busy. People get PAID to return the carts as well. It's rude, but doesn't make someone a BAD person.
I’m incredibly lazy but I make sure to return my cart sometimes I feel sorry for the people who have to get the carts and bring it all the way back inside especially if it’s really cold outside
Not returning the cart does show laziness and an overemphasis on self-ego. I always return my cart, and sometimes return others too.

It definitely doesn't feel right to abandon carts, and seeing people do it just bothers me for a second but i dont care much about it either. All i can do is make sure im not one of those people.
There is a lot of truth in thst. always put the cr back.

I don't put the carts back because in an age where Walmart is cutting out every job they can to increase profits, they can't make robots to chase carts... I'm a "job creator"

I don't know about "good"; I don't think morality's that simple. But considerate, definitely.
I wouldn’t say it makes you an awful person, but I would say that it shows that you have no care for the workers who collect the trolleys.
You have to point a gun at my head to get me to put the cart back where it belongs. Im a savage 😈
Yes because common courtesy 100% determines whether you are a good person or not.
I would have to agree. If someone can't even bother to do something as little as that. You can't expect them to give to the homeless or volunteer.

Not necessarily awful, but definitely lazy and irresponsible.
The shopping cart theory alone doesn't determine whether you're a good or bad person, but it can be a sign if they're good or bad

It depends. If I do it, I'm being lazy and inconsiderate. If a mom who was shopping with her infant does it, it might be understandable.
i mostly agree with this theory. i mean everyone has a bad day sometimes. but if you do this routinely, you're a trash person.
Yes if you don’t return a cart you’re clearly selfish, awful , and lazy person. That think everything has to be done for them

I return them, even if it's a little more walk. No big deal to add more steps to your day.
I saw the same meme and I was about to ask that here. I wouldn't date a girl that didn't return her shopping cart.
Like they say, you are what you eat. If you don't look after things how are you in your own home. Human's are filthy.
