Why do I get men obsessed with chasing me / conquering me?

This guy has been chasing me for a year now.

And I had many guys before chase me for 2 years.

Like i think im average looking; so I dont understand why these men get so persistent and can't take no for an answer. It feels... obsessive?

Do any women have the same experience with the opposite gender? Is it a universal experience? If not, what is the potential reason?

A guy never pusues a woman for such long durations of time unless the guy thinks that there is a chance for him with her or that she likes him and it's because of something he did that she now rejected her. Most probably because of the things the woman said while they were talking which made him beleive she was the perfect Or that she cannot live without him (narcissistic approach).
This most commonly happens when the girls is much more friendly with the guy and being flirty. Too much time spend together like that, men tend to get wrong ideas.
