How would you handle this situation?

Soo long story. I transferred over to this store and manage two stores atm even though I’m supposed to be managing just one. Well part of the reason I transferred is because the territorial vp asked me too and offered a good pay raise and it provides good growth opportunity. I manage two of the top 5 volume stores. I have the flag ship store (the first one that ever opened) and then the other. Well got asked to comanage the flag ship store because it is not performing well. So after looking at several candidates they thought I would be the best fit and thought I would be the person to make this happen. So I have been at the store for 2 months now. Organizing binders, hiring new employees, doing the trainings, remodeling the sales etc. the last month 1/2 the store has changed significantly since when I first came and was overwhelmed because of how bad it was. Well the girl I am comanaging with is still store manager. She was mad af. She took 3 weeks off to move. So I ran the store and I used that time to try things out and had the part timers focusing heavily on customer service and recovering the sales floor etc… well the flag ship store has not met their monthly goals in over a year. July is the worst month of the year for retail as a whole. Well the flag ship store was $22,000 over goal. Unheard of. So we got an email from the district manager and she was like “melody has really built up the team” Well employees were talking about me and she just snapped. She got super angry and said to me “I am so sick and tired of corporate office raving about how great you are. I hate how much they rave about you and praise you and they basically think you walk on water. Everytime something good happens in the store they bring up your name about how amazing you are and I’m tired of hearing it” then I was trying to be comforting… and I said for what it’s worth I think you’re a pretty great manager. She said “I don’t care what you think and your opinions do not matter to me”
