Yesterday I was at work all alone finishing some administrative stuff as the clinical manager for a few hours. Anyway I am sitting there minding my own business in my office when all of a sudden the nurse's phone lines starts ringing. I wait for a bit to make sure I'm not hearing things and then get up and make my way to the nurses (we've 4 nurses, 1 phone) room.

Yes the phone is ringing. However it is not ringing from an outside number. It is dialing from an on-site extension, one of our 2 doctors office rooms.

When I reach out to pick up, it cuts out.

I wait a second and I make my way to the doctor's office. Maybe by chance he sneaked in through the second door and I didn't notice as I was working away.

I knock on his door. No answer. I call out his name. No answer. I open the door. Lights off and the office is entirely vacant.

My first job out of high school was in the city about 15-20 miles away. I did not own a car so I hitchhiked to and from work every day. I used to stand on a traffic island that had a blinking light on it and stuck my thumb out after work and usually I could get a ride in 10- 15 minutes. To get to this traffic island I had to cross a busy turnpike. I always looked both ways and ran across. One Friday night in January I ran across and somehow I was struck by a speeding car. I got a glancing blow but it was enough to send me hurtling through the air. I can remember seeing the hiway coming up close and seeing little bits of broken glass and plastic, the result of a thousand rear enders.
Months earlier a homeless man was hit near that area and cars just kept running him over, thinking he was a pile of rags.
As soon as I was struck, I immediately knew I was dead. I knew I would soon be reduced to a pile of rags. Instead of getting scared, I was strangely calm, thinking it wouldn't be a bad way to go if it didn't hurt too much, besides I wasn't doing anything great with my life anyway.
All of a sudden it got quiet. When I looked up everything was bathed in this weird light, sort of like one of those sodium lamps. All the cars were in slow motion as if they were practically frozen. Somehow I got to my feet and finished running across the road. As soon as I got to the other side everything sped up and went back to normal. As if that wasn't weird enough, I felt like I could sense other people who have had similar experiences.
Then I could taste my own blood and found that I had bit through my lower lip.
I limped for a couple of weeks after that but I never figured out what happened.

Several weeks after my dad passed away, we were cleaning out his house and going through stuff. Every day between 5:30 & 6:00 pm we heard the front door open, someone coming up the stairs to the kitchen. Then the footsteps went to the hall closet and then to the bathroom. The bathroom door closed and his bedroom door opened.

This went on for about 2 weeks then it stopped. I contacted a psychic who told me my dad stuck around to make sure I can handle everything. When he realized I was able to, he crossed over.

Yes a few times. Once when I was alone at home when I was cooking rice in a rice cooker the buttons suddenly turn to warm but I turned it to cooking and I remember I clicked it to cooking setting when I came back it turned to warm again like someone is changing the buttons.
Second is also at home, I was sleeping at living room and I just heard noises outside the terrace like someone is searching something in the toolbox, all the tools sounded like they are moving but when I looked outside to check if there's someone there no one was there and its lights out and dark but my dad just passed away like a week ago and it just happened every night so I assume its him who is doing that.

Could have been an electrical glitch. Repeated events, log and analyze.

I’ve come home to find things had moved in my house or doors unlocked that I’d clearly locked. I’d found out that a recent owner had died in the house. I got her name. I talked to her, told her I was sorry about her heart attack and that I hoped she could rest easily, I’m going to take good care of her home.
Everything stopped.
That’s what happened. I don’t know any more details about it.

No it was specifically, as said, from a doctor's specific room & given the fact he's the cardiologist of the group makes it even creepier.
