Guys, would you still protect your girlfriend even if the bully was much bigger and stronger than you?

Question

Scenario:

Your bully that's been tormenting you during all your HS years (you're scared because that guy can really beat the hell out of you... you know this) is trying to force himself on your girlfriend and he's laughing like a maniac. Your girlfriend is asking for your help, she sees you as her last hope right there. It's just you, the big bully and her. It's either saving her but risking getting beaten yourself or do as the bully tells you... to walk away and leave but then your girlfriend gets raped.

This is the perfect example of a scene like that in Back to the Future:

What would you do in the scenario? If you're not as big nor strong as the bully/would-be rapist?

i think it doesn't matter if its a stronger man or a dragon. if you can't fight, then leave. take her and leave.

i dont encourage fighting though, unless its an absolute must.

if its self defence go all out though. your excuse is that you're not really safe unless the problem is unable to be a problem anymore. so dont hold back if its getting serious.

also. the girl has to fight too. not NOT PHYSICALLY. not verbally either. dont put your self in a situation where you could harrassed or bullied, unless you have no choice of course.

as a guy though, if you have no choice but to fight and odds of winning are small. leave with your girl. or pass the problem onto someone who can handle it. the authorities.

or just play the manipulation game on the guy. (never manipulate your own girls please). i dont mean act gay. i mean act smart.
get embarrassed if you have to. losing a little face to save your girlfriend is worth it.

Him stronger than me? OK. But him bigger than me? Not likely.

Despite my size let me tell you it's not the dog in the fight it's the fight in the dog. It's been my experience that shorter men tend to punch harder (don't believe me look at Mike Tyson. He was only 5'10" which is short for a avg. boxer).

I luckily haven't been I many fights and typically I think my demeanor has gotten me out of most of them. I'm not tough and I'll fully admit that. I'll let the other flex and beat his chest all he wants. Maybe he needs that to save face. But if it comes to it I'll look Him dead in the eye and say if he takes a swing he better knock me out. Because I'll give him all he can handle and then some. The only way he'll defeat me is by knocking me out.

If things looked bad enough I would call the police if I had a chance to. It would probably be a public setting with some cameras to back my claims up.

If that isn't an option (like I need to act immediately) I would grab something nearby to use as a weapon to increase my odds of landing a painful hit, because if he's bigger and stronger than me I'm going to want an edge to put the bastard down long enough for us to get away.

I have never been violent or a fighter but I do get filled with rage if a friend or partner is getting harassed or even manhandled. I also used to carry pepper spray for such an occasion because men won't expect me to have it. I value peace over all things of course but if someone's starting something I will not play fair. Only assuming we're unable to leave first of course. Name calling isn't a reason to fight. Physical touch is.

I'd probably pretend to chicken out, use her as bait to draw his attention, then ambush him with an improvised weapon when his back is turned. A brick to the back of the head would do nicely. Then stamp on his balls until he becomes a eunuch.

I would just fight dirty and poke his eyes or use a weapon as this isn't a boxing match. I would also try to permanently cripple him so he couldn't come after me later.

Well yeah, what am I gonna do, just run away scared? I would deserve to get broken up with at that point.. Also that's what weapons are for as well.. Even if he did beat me down, he ain't getting out unscathed..
