If even the most friendly and peaceful animal kills an abusive, did he had it coming?

Among the various videos about fatal animal encounter I've heard, I didn't feel sorry for this guy. Him and others were bullying and harassing a peaceful dolphin. They were tormenting it and even putting ice-cream or cigar in its blowhole until the mammal had lost its patience and really got pissed off. Would you say this death was deserved?

Bottlenose, I'm guessing? No one cares when it's not one of the cute ones. And it doesn't matter much, really; outside of orcas, dolphins are anything but "peaceful, gentle creatures"- they're sex-crazed thrill-killers.

That said, you fight nature, it fights back.

No; if that were the case, we wouldn't have so many women claiming to be raped by dolphins. Harassment is not required.

Gentleness may not be a human invention, but it's certainly a sentient one. Nature is ruthless.

So what you say about a dolphin that initially wanted to interact with people but the people then started touching it too much, riding on it whenever they felt like it as if it were a toy to play with and tossing ice-cream and cigar on its blowhole (the equivalent of our noses) to the point it felt suffocated? Isn't that harassment and animal cruelty by then?

Indeed. Tio has giving them all multiple chances to stop. I'm surprised he took a while to finally retaliate. Putting ice-cream on its blowhole and he still gave them a final warning to stop. Then someone else tries putting someone on its blowhole again but this time a cigar and that's when the he got enraged. They need that to breathe. That's like our nose to us. They were all a bunch of idiots.

Dolphins aren't gentle creatures, I've seen them kill proposes for fun. We had a mako shark wash up here a few years ago thought to be a dolphin victim. If you piss them off they will defend themselves and you'll get no sympathy from me.

Yeah placing ice-cream or a cigar on a dolphin's blowhole, that's literally choking/suffocating the creature. They breath there and that seems like the equivalent of someone covering our noses and then laughing if we can't breath. No wonder it went into a rampage.

Dolphins aren't peaceful. They commit infanticide, rape and kill other animals for fun.

Perhaps some aren't but I can't really feel sorry for someone that abuses animals and is clearly tormenting the dolphin for too long, making the animal feel threatened and pissing it off.
