After I turned 30 I started hearing my family and friends saying things like: 'You are too old to... Learn to drive a car, go clubbing, get married, have children, change a job, wear mini skirts, etc. (Insert whatever you want). Is there really an age limit of what we can/cannot do?
We only get as old as we allow ourselves.
Even physically we don't get old, we get lazy. Sure the older we get the longer it takes our bodies to heal. But most of the issue old people have is because they stop using their body. Same thing with the mind.
As long as a disease doesn't infiltrate the body or mind both are flexible enough to continue to grow throughout our lifetime.
People will always try to put limits on you because they don't want to be outdone or they think that's for kids not adults, but why should you conform to their limits? I refuse and say as long as I am not being a burden to others, hurting others or myself then let me live as I choose.

It's no wonder you have an ID called 'insecure'. How dare they demoralise you like that? I've seen 90+ year old people run a marathon. Don't listen to them.. If you want to learn to drive? Do so, same with everything else up there^^
No, the only age limit is the limit you allow yourself to be controlled into!
you are as old as you feel...
don't let other people decide how you feel and what you want to achieve

There is social expectation at what you do at what age. And your interests and view of the world change as your get older. As does your body. And fertility. So building families tends to be young endeavour.
But other things remain open. Like marriage, travel, doing a course, and learning to drive a car.I don't know if it is Covid or if I am just getting older but there are things that I used to like to do that I just don't feel like doing them anymore
Not really. Practically or physically, maybe. But psychologically? Never.
Aside from "ordering from the kids' menu", no. You CAN get too frail or weak for some things, though, and that often comes with age. Most people aren't Jack LaLanne.
absolutely. cause things you can do today will kill you when you're 80 or even 90.
Yes, reality is that in your 70’s you can’t live like you’re in your 20’s
No that’s ridiculous.
