When i say insecure I mean't with me unable to remove any thoughts that come my mind with regards to my girlfriend entertaining her exes etc

You'll be old one day and think back to all the things you could have done and tried but were to scared too. It's better to take a chance because if you don't the answer will always be no.

As you grow, as a person, you learn what is worth worrying about and what isn't. Some people never learn this. I was surrounded by stressed out people all the time, which helped me realize how useless it all was.
