When a guy texts you he's tired and lonely and can't sleep?

There is a guy I have known over a month and we have only hung out a few times. He sent a text at 9ish at night saying he was tired lonely and couldn't sleep...I didn't text back...and an hr later he said goodnight sweetie :) I finally able to sleep. Wtf? Does he mean or what is his intentions when he text this?

It's hard to tell. He could've just been saying that and looking for affection or hoping you would come over and sleep with him. I don't know what his behavior is like so I can't give a definitive answer, but it prob was a smart move that you didn't respond and play into it since you don't know each other that well yet.

At first he was probably hoping you would come over or he come to you. But since you didn't respond he just left it alone and didn't want to force the issue. So its good that he didn't keep doing with it and just left it alone.
