It means she was an amazing good respectful girl/woman that went through so much damaging trauma and hell, and also having no else be there for her; enough for her to feel worthless and not good enough. And all of that pain and damage psychologically fucked her up as well to a point of her feeling like there is no more hope for her.
Maybe it could be a past thing? If you know her really well and she's done some things she's not proud of that could be an explanation. Or maybe she has some insecurities that past relationships have brought up and she's worried about them affecting another relationship.

Could mean a lot of things, but for me there's a girl who used me as a rebound that's left me for this ex that she complained about who she dated on and off. She told me how much he's used her, hurt her, and lied to her multiple times. Now they're in a "loving relationship" again. *rolls eyes*

Probably what she said. Too many emotional issues. Can't trust people, or habitually cheats, or is an alpha widow, like that.
She isn't capable of being in a healthy, happy relationship at the moment.
It means she's lost her innocence and doesn't think she is worthy of a relationship anymore.
It means her self-esteem is probably low.
