We were excited, nervous, and a little scared to learn just 3 weeks after we got married that we were going to have a baby. I was honestly shocked. I have had issues with my cycle and multiple ovarian cyst with two ruptures on my left ovary.. Due to the damage done and my uterus an unusual tilt at a extreme angle.. I rarely if ever ovulated and the chance of pregnancy were placed at 0.. Unfortunately 9 weeks we lost our baby.. I was completely devastated .. I knew something wasn't right because I stayed in pain..
I didn't know what or how to feel.. 2001 was a amazing year that ended with such heartbreak.. We bring in the new year with big plans to go on trips and enjoy each other and since we knew it was possible try for a baby.. So we start planning.. We are going out and enjoying married life.. When the month of April gets here we find out we're pregnant 😮 I was scheduled for an ultrasound the next day only find out I had already lost the baby.. Devastated and heart broken I went on birth control.. Fast forward a few months and we find out my husbands dad was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer and we made the decision to move 4 hours from my home town to his so he can be with his dad.. 
At the same time this is happening we find out we are pregnant again and I'm scared.. Fast forward 3 months and we are spending time with his dad and trying to get settled in I'm still pregnant and sick as hell.. I was throwing up morning noon and night.. I was passing out with any type of temperature or emotion change. To say I was miserable would be an understatement.. My entire pregnancy was like this until 35 weeks I was good.. I felt amazing.. 36 weeks and I was in labor.. They couldn't stop it. I labored for 36 1/2 hours when they told me it was time to push 8 pushes 14 minutes our 6lbs 12oz baby boy was here.. 
Early but a good weight and healthy... Fast forward 3 months and we're enjoying the craziness that is being new parents.. His dad unfortunately isn't doing very well at this point and they have given him only months.. Fast forward another 3 months and we have a super healthy baby boy life is going well and we get the phone call at 4:12am that his dad passed away.... I didn't get to spend as much time with my father in law but the short time I did have was great... He was a great man and I'm thankful we were able to move closer to him so my husband could spend as much time as possible with him.. He got to meet and spend 6 months with his grandson...
2004 started with the loss of a great man.. RIP Papa George... So much still happening in such a short time...
