So I've been dating a guy firc3 months whose 26 and I'm 33. He has no issues with age and we are both nurses and he is still in school and I'm starting again this fall. Basically we've been in the honeymoon phase all along and things have been beyond great. We work opposite shifts so don't see each other much.. usually only every other weekend for one day. Suddenly this past Sunday he didn't want to spend time together (although we had plans and asked me to text him soon as i woke up) and became very distant and not answering my calls or texts. Later that night he said he was depressed and had to finish school work. The next day he told me he wants to slow things down. . I have to admit I was asking him a lot about the future, but he has been telling me that he sees us together for years to come and that I'm "the one" .. why would he suddenly pull back? It this the beginning of the end or does he just need some space?

I asked him if he still feels the same ( loves me) and he said yes. I even asked if he wanted to see other people and he said no. He said he wants to be with me but also said it's just that he has limited time which I already know. And he has doubts

So since last night he's calling and texting me again like usual and I haven't said I love you but he's started again.. I'm so confused!
