If someone left you for someone else, but then came back to you.. would you take them back?

For example, someone you were kind of seeing left you for someone else, but then realised their mistake and wanted to get back with you, would you consider giving them that chance? And why?

Well this is a big question, because you are holding ALL the cards here.
There is a risk he could be a serial new girlfriend tester and using you as a safety net.
If he came back full of remorse and regret and you felt it was sincere then there is a remote chance he could be forever grateful because you would be a very special person.
Anything less than that remorse and regret and I would simply show him the door.
Anything less that 100% perfect boyfriend and I would dump him quick.

I would also want to find out what he thought the other girl had that was missing with you. This could be the deal breaker. There must have been something to make him flaky.

It depends from your character. I forgive easily people but if my girlfriend dumped me for someone else and then returned i would need some time to believe she truly realized her mistake. it would take a lot of effort from her to restore my trust for her. and thats only because i truly love her!

Hell no! I would watch them beg then be dismissive of them. You can never trust someone who will instantly make you disposable because someone else came along. So not cool. That is one of the rare circumstances where I would cut someone off for good.

No way. I gotta respect my self and have some dignity. If i accept them back what's to stop them from doing that again, I'd be just as bad as her for letting her back in my life.
