These are the highlights
-Together for 8years, but we were both unhappy (past two years)
-He was unfaithful to me in the beginning of our relationship, promised he'd never do it again
-We have a 1yr old child
-I've been telling him for months that I wanted us to split because baby was growing up in too many arguments he kept saying we have to stay together as a family so I stayed
-We decided to split beginning of October, had a good long conversation, everything was fine.
-Found out a few days afterwards it was because he had a new 'friend' that he finally agreed to split with me.
-He kept saying they were just friends and started asking me to get back together (about two weeks after). He said he'd changed and he wants his family.
-We had sex twice, once three weeks ago and once three days ago.
-Right after (an hour or so) we had sex three days ago, he admitted to me he had sex with the girl two days after the last time we had sex and says it was a mistake... they were at work and she pushed herself on him and he just let her do what she wanted
- He then said that she told him she is pregnant for him and he does not know what to do, that he quarrelled with her and she told him she does not want him in the child's life at all, does not want child support or anything at all.
-I have been faithful to him for our entire relationship and he knows I do not believe in casual sex.
-He has said that he does not feel anytype of way about having sex with her since him and I were not in a relationship at that time... though I will admit he wrongfully made me feel like I was all he wanted.
-He wants us to be together, tells me he was stupid, that because he is poor and she was offering him everything he could ever dream of, he got blindsided. And that now he sees the light and that I am the best woman he could ever have, that the money doesn't mean anything as long as he has his family

I've been in something similar. Its just guilt thats making him come back. Besides even if he did have some feelings for you thats not whats important. Point is, his character sucks and he has very low morals and little respect for you. Do you want that kind of a person in your life? Do you want your child to be around parents whose relationship is toxic? Dont do it. Your child will be affected by this, kids pick up really quickly and then they internalize it.

As a person that forgave a cheating boyfriend, I say walk away. Once a cheater always a cheater, it will happen again and you will feel so stupid and regret forgiving him. When he tries to get intimate you'll think of his deception. Its better to walk away and have a little heartbrake than any of the pain that will come with sticking by a cheater

Regardless of his reasoning, he will never change, and it's unfortunate that you have a baby with him, but you have to do what's best for you and your baby. He constantly hurts you and makes promises he can't keep, so the only logical action to do is leave him and never come back. Make him pay for child support and make him regret the choices he has made in his life. He has a child and still he constantly cheats on you? What kind of father example is he trying to set here?

This is very hard thing to deal with. If he agrees that he goes for counciling. The councillor feels that he's ready, apologize to your family with his heart. He maybe a better person. You may have to bring up the past to remind him that you do not want to go through this anymore. Make a contract
