What should you do when you accidentally overreacted with your girlfriend?

I was bothered this guy that used to like her but she didn't like back got in contact with her. I told her this bothered me and she said she "okay i will stop talking to him" and i said thanks. I went through her insta and he commented on a pic "the guy that took this pic is sexy" (him) and she replied with "das tru" and i asked about it why she lowkey called him sexy and she said "um okay?" I felt as if I've overreacted and I don't know what to do about it.

She lied to you. Why are you the one apologizing? She said she wasn't going to do something and then she did it anyways. Her calling him sexy doesn't matter, though. Just because you're with someone, doesn't mean you think everyone else is the world is suddenly unattractive.

How did you overreact? By what you said she was wrong to basically tell him that he's sexy, knowing that he had feelings for her. You had told her to not talk to him and she agreed so I'm sure she knew she shouldn't have replied to him in a flirty way.

Yeah apologize but do it somwhere while bsing on a date or smt, take her somewhere and buy her some chocolate cake or just go somewhere and have a nice time together and just tell her you are sorry for that thing, choose the right moment to say it and all will be alright

Seek help for your jealousy issues because you can apologize all you want but your behavior ain't changing.
