Am I overreacting to my boyfriend's jokes about cheating/breaking up with me?

Okay, so my boyfriend and I are both still young and even though we've had pasts with other people, this is the first real relationship for both of us. We've been together for about three months and it's going pretty nice, but I do notice that he jokes about having another girlfriend or breaking up with me over silly matters frequently. I understand that these are just jokes, and he'll usually respond with 'jk' afterwards, but I still don't feel quite comfortable with it. Usually with the girlfriend joke he'll be like "I'm texting my Russian girlfriend with double D's" or something along those lines, and I just don't feel like he's exactly satisfied with me. I've never completely confronted him about this and usually just nod the jokes of with a "um okay". He does reassure constantly that he loves me dearly, and he wouldn't do something like that, and I believe him, but I'm still not entirely comfortable with jokes like these.

You should talk to him about this. He might be joking about it and not realizing that his words have consequences, that they hurt your confidence and feeling of security. If he does love you dearly, then after you make him aware of the effect of these jokes, he should be willing to stop making them.
