so they were texting and the girl had to go for school so they had to stop texting for a while and he said "don't miss me too much" to her. he said she's only a friend, even though they liked each other before, nothing happened. they used to call a lot until i put a stop to it. and i also told him about me being unhappy with that text and he said he sent it because he knows she wouldn't receive it any other way other than a friend way. he told me he will be careful next time. it just feels weird. is he cheating on me? what should i do?

The message you found is totally innocent. I have never cheated and when jealous type women spied on my email/text I just got more secretive but with a woman who does not act jealous I would have no problem with her being all in my business because I trust her. Of course if she kept interrogating me I'm not going to like it. It's a sign of lack of trust. Just my 2 cents.

i didn't really spy on his texts. i asked him for it and he showed it to me. there's lack of trust between us true, and its bcos he lied before + i have trust issues. hence opening up his stuff like texts to me will help me better trust him. dont u think the message is weird tho? why would normal friends send each other that. do u think its okay for him to send that? he has a girlfriend tho

Well I think you should bail if you don't trust him that much. You cannot control what someone does... if he is a cheater he will cheat regardless of how many questions you ask.

To answer your q. Sounded to me like he was telling her to back off, not plotting to get with her. She wants something but he does not is how I read it. I would not care if a girlfriend sent a message to a guy as long as she is not trying to betray me. But that does not mean you have to stay with someone you don't trust

what do u mean he was telling her to back off? he told her to not miss him too much in a sweet way. sometimes he tells me that too, "dont miss me too much".

If i said that to someone it would mean, simmer down. But if he says that to you too guess he means something else. Follow your heart but don't waste time trying to control. It won't work
