My girlfriend won't undress for me during sex?

I recently got into a relationship with a girl who I find has a really nice face but does have a history of putting on and losing weight quickly.

The problem is that she won't undress for me during sex - she's too self-conscious about her weight. She doesn't wear underwear and wears a sports bra instead of a regular bra because she doesn't feel right (or worthy) wearing sexy underwear. She's also constantly talking about her weight and how her sister is more beautiful than her and she even admitted to me that 6 months ago was the first time she ever publicly wore a bikini (she's 26 for reference).

I'm really not sure if I can continue this relationship because she always needs reassurance that I find her adorable... she was easy before me... and her last boyfriend was an unemployed bum whereas she's a respiratory therapist pulling in $30/hour... my theory being that she doesn't feel she deserves a guy any better. She also doesn't trust me because I'm a bit "above" some of the guys she dated in the past (I work as an engineer)

This has gotten to a point where I can't get hard anymore thinking about her... which only further makes her insecure

What do I do?

As someone who also shares the same history, it's really hard to not be so self critical. I would say that if you truly are into her then you need to maybe take a step back from being intimate... Build her confidence and get her to seek help for her insecurities if need be, make her feel sexy and explain how you don't care about flaws etc and you find her super hot. Eventually she'll learn to break her walls down and be comfy around you.

I am into her but I'm almost 28 and building my professional career. I honestly don't feel being someone's psychologist to be honest - like I honestly feel like I'm 17 or something.

Just a question - do you ever push guys away because you feel they are "above your league"? She keeps on going off about how she doesn't understand why I'm with her and it's really getting irritating
