really good question. I have only felt real, true, love-at-first-sight love once. and yes, I still love her; I will to the day I die. but she and I are not together, and probably won't be in this life. it was my fault, not something I did, but rather what I didn't do, and she moved on and she is happy. so am i, but I learned a valuable lesson about grief and the size of my own heart. we were both very young when we were in love, and I have a different understanding now about what love is. it is something inside of me, of you, of everyone; all we have to do is listen and be aware of what our hearts are saying to us. we then no longer have to worry about looking for love or finding it anywhere else because it is within us and all around us always. what concerns me now is only that I listen and pay attention when my heart gives me the elbow so that I don't make the same mistake again. it is something you know without knowing you know, you know?

People remarry all the time and get divorces. Thus, people fall in and out of love. For the relationships that last for decades, that love evolves into mutual, deep respect.

Sometimes you only think you are in love. I've even thought I was even recently but realized really I wasn't. To be honest I actually am starting to hate her. Sometimes it's hard to distinguish. If it's true love though you will always have a certain amount of love for that person even when they do you wrong.
And yes you can fall in love more then once.Yes it happens, some guys can't form emotional attachments to girls, part genetic part conditioned.
