Junior and freshman relationships. Too much of a gap?

Some of my friends don't think so but I think an age gap of more than a year is awkward in high school but that's my opinion. What do you all think?

I don't think that's too big of a gap. It dependn the maturity levels of each person. My best friend met her fiance in high school. She was a freshman and he was a junior. We are the same age and now we're in our junior year of college. They're getting married when we graduate! So the age difference isn't too big of a deal...as long as the partners are OK with each others' maturity levels.

I was worried about this too, I still am. I'm in my second last year of high school and my "boyfriend" in in his second. Right now, we're keeping it quiet until I leave school.

I don't see the problem with it, I'm just worried about what the people in my year will say especially when I am the older one.

Really no problem with it. I'm a sophomore and he's a Senior.

If it bothers someone that much what other people think of them then they shouldn't be dating that person.

I don't think it's awkward at all. You'll miss out on many potentially great people if you just stick with people around your age.
