I don't think that's too big of a gap. It dependn the maturity levels of each person. My best friend met her fiance in high school. She was a freshman and he was a junior. We are the same age and now we're in our junior year of college. They're getting married when we graduate! So the age difference isn't too big of a deal...as long as the partners are OK with each others' maturity levels.

I was worried about this too, I still am. I'm in my second last year of high school and my "boyfriend" in in his second. Right now, we're keeping it quiet until I leave school.
I don't see the problem with it, I'm just worried about what the people in my year will say especially when I am the older one.
I think you should just go for it :)

Really no problem with it. I'm a sophomore and he's a Senior.
If it bothers someone that much what other people think of them then they shouldn't be dating that person.I don't think it's awkward at all. You'll miss out on many potentially great people if you just stick with people around your age.
