Do men act like babies when they feel sick? Do they want their s/o to baby them or do they want to be left alone?

I took care of my man last night: made him chamomile tea, rubbed Vicks on his throat, chest and toes, massaged his fingers and gave him meds. He didn't even say thank you. He was grumpy too and complained too much. I gave him shit for taking other meds while taking antibiotics from his doctor. He got mad because he wanted to take a cough syrup for his annoying cough and he said he wants to sleep. I know he loves me but why is he acting this way.

Men (going from how i am when im ill) like both and sadly you'll never win, they want to be left alone and they want attention. Plus they're sick so in a bad mood. But it sounds like you did your best for him and did much more than most, you could always leave him to fend for himself next time and see how he reacts :P then you can compare what one he's prefers

I did leave him alone but he keeps groaning, acting pissy and keep asking for attention while I was watching TV. like tf do u want? lol he didn't directly say hey take care of me or give me attention

Being sick isn’t fun. I think we can all get a little grumpy and whiny when we feel miserable.

If he’s not responding well to your assistance, then let him be. Let him ask for something if he wants it. He’s an adult, or shouldn’t be your job to make sure he takes the right medicines. I’d he's being a brat about it, then let him take care of it himself.

His illness is probably just making him cranky but he may also be taking your care taking for granted, much like one may take their mothers care for granted. Hopefully once he’s better, he shows his appreciation.

He's just grumpy because he's not feeling well, don't take it to heart. He appreciates the help I'm sure. Personally I just keep my colds and such to myself unless it's something severe like neumonia. Earlier this year I had it so bad I could hardly walk down the hallway from my own bedroom

Yea, that's a thing. Also a cliche, but really a thing. And yea, i want to be taken care of. I don't ask much. Actually nithing. But i'm really happy to be handed a tea or some medication. Because i always believe in not taking anything and letting time cure me. But then, when a girl cares for me, i just feel great and let her do whatever she thinks is good for me. It's really sweet, when girls just have that caring side to them!

1. NO we don't act like babies without reason, when a men are sick it's not the same as girl !! Men have it 10 times worse just google it, females tolerate pain much more cause of childbirth and such so we don't want to act like babies but girls would do the same if they knew how bad we had it!! 2.
